Environmental Friendly House
This blog is written for those who are interested to build a cost effective house ,environmentally sensitive and climate-friendly while maintaining aesthetic look.In constructing such a house many friend of mine ,relatives helped me lot.Some of them even criticized me.Architect Avirat Inamdar from Sagali ,Sourabh Muzumdar from Satara guided me in designing and planing the structure.And finally my dream came true with Architect Sagar Dhundare from Rasiwade ,Kolhapur.Many many thanks to them.
I was dreaming from my childhood to construct an environment friendly house.I and my family bored staying rented cement concrete house. I was fascinated by rural houses and wadas. In order to full fill my dream I purchased 6000 sq ft land in a small town where I am working. I started collecting information to suit my requirement.I and my family visiting several villages and cities studying how the houses were built.
In urban area 99% construction were made by using cement concrete.In city there is no other choice due to scarcity of land. For that purpose I and my family visited the campus of National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD) at Hydrabad. After word I was fascinated by the work of Laurie Baker.
and visited COSTFORD in Trivendrum ,Kerala.
